I´m in Yo dona

Después de pasar el sábado en tierras manchegas volví a casa para encontrarme con una grata sorpresa. Gracias a una chica en Trendtation me enteré de que habían publicado una foto mía en Yo dona. Por suerte tenía un ejemplar en mi casa y efectivamente me encontré con la foto que Ramiro E me sacó en Cibeles. Sobra decir que me hizo una ilusión enorme verme en la revista, aunque no estaría de más que avisaran de alguna manera cuando publican alguna foto tuya. Que oye, por mí que publiquen todas las que quieran que a nadie le amarga un dulce. Y como estoy falta de fotos, que conste que no me gusta dedicar un post exclusivamente a esto, os dejo con la página en la que salgo. Perdón por la calidad de la imagen pero es que mi escaner no es muy allá.

También me gustaría dar las gracias a Alejandro, Mr Deyn, por elegirme look de la semana en Positive Magazine.

I got a big surprise the other day when a girl in Trendtation told me that she had seen me in Yo dona magazine. Luckily I had a copy of the mag at home so I was able to check it out. It is obvious that it made me incredibly happy to see myself in the magazine, but it would be even better if they told you in advance. But hey, I´m not complaining, anybody would love to see themselves in a magazine. Considering I haven't been able to take pictures in the last few days, I leave you with the feature, although I have to tell you I don't like dedicating a post exclusively to this. Sorry for the bad quality of the pic, my scanner isn't very good.


I would also like to thank Alejandro, Mr Deyn, for choosing me look of the week in Positive Magazine.

Tocaba enseñar mi famosa falda de h&m. Lo que más me gusta es que sólo parte de la falda sea plisada, le da más originalidad al asunto. También os dejo con mi pequeña aparición en Elle.es. Here is my famous skirt from h&m. Spring 2011

Ya es Primavera, y no sólo en el Corte Inglés, así que una ya puede empezar a centrarse en las tendencias de la nueva temporada tranquilamente. He pensado que puede ser buena idea dedicar más espacio a hablar de vez en cuando de las colecciones y tendencias que más me gustan, y no podía empezar de otra manera que con un post dedicado a Chloé. Como gran fan de las faldas midi y transparencias que soy, ésta es una de mis colecciones favoritas. La única pega: las bailarinas. No soy capaz de verle otro uso a ese calzado más que el de sustituir a los tacones en una noche de fiesta cuando ya no puedes más con ellos. Aunque ya se sabe, nunca digas nunca, igual antes o después acabo llevando bailarinas. Lo que es seguro es que necesito llenar mi armario de faldas como las de Chloé, por lo pronto ya me he hecho con una de H&M que guarda cierto parecido...

Spring is officially here and that means it's time to focus on the new spring-summer trends. I've decided to dedicate more space to talk about my favourite collections and trends for the new season, and there's no better way to start than talking about Chloé. As a big fan of midi skirts and sheer materials, it was obvious that Hanna MacGibbon's spring collection would be one of my favourites. The only thing I don't like is the ballet flats. I can only understand wearing this type of shoes as a way to rest my feet after a long night on heels. But hey! Who knows, maybe I'll end up wearing ballet flats, but what I know for sure is that I need to fill my closet with Chloé-like skirts. In fact, I've already started my collection with a slightly similar skirt from H&M...

Desde navidades llevaba esperando para ver estas fotos. Un lunes de vacaciones que empezó en la biblioteca y se convirtió en el día en que casi rompo mi record de horas bebiendo. ¡Qué ganas de repetir algo así!

I´ve been waiting to see these pics since Christmas. It was a Monday at the end of the Christmas break that started with some studying in the library and ended as the day I nearly broke my drinking record. I want to do it again!

Spring shopping

Con el día tan genial que hizo hoy, decidí irme de compras para ir llenando el armario de prendas más primaverales. Lo que empezó siendo una tarde de lo más productiva en Topshop acabó siendo un fracaso cuando fui a pagar en h&m y vi que me habían robado la cartera. Estas cosas pasan, lo que ocurre es que últimamente pasan demasiado a mi alrededor... Pero bueno, no es el fin del mundo, aunque haber dejado atrás una falda en h&m me duele en el alma... ¡Tendré que volver a por ella!

The weather was great today, so I decided to do some shopping. What started as a great afternoon in Topshop, it didn´t end so well when I found out as I was about to pay in h&m that my wallet had been stolen. I know this kind of thing happens a lot, but it's been happening very often lately amongst some of the people I know, it's like bad luck is following me. Anyway, it's not the end of the world, but I´m so sad I had to leave a beatiful skirt behind...I´ll have to visit h&m again this week!

Esta semana me he puesto al día de todo. Me he visto todos los capítulos de mis series de cabecera, lo malo es que una de ellas se presenta con un parón que se me va a hacer eterno. He visto el nuevo video de Lady Gaga, muy ella pero como en otras ocasiones todavía no le he pillado el tranquillo, supongo que ya lo haré. También he visto el video de Galliano, que por una parte puedo entender que le despidan teniendo en cuenta la mala imagen a la que se puede ver expuesta la casa Dior, pero por otro lado creo que el hombre necesita ayuda más que un despido, o al menos alguien que le acompañe en sus borracheras para pararle los pies cuando empiece a soltar barbaridades por la boca. Por otro lado, después de siglos sin pisar una sala de cine, fui a ver Black Swan, que sí, que la peli está muy bien, pero como la gente hablaba maravillas de ella, me esperaba incluso algo más. Y hoy,  en lo que iba a ser mi rutinario paso por la peluquería he decidido volver a intentarlo con el pelo más corto. Aquí está el resultado. ¿Qué os parece?

This week has been about updating. I´ve watched all the episodes from my favourite shows, although apparently one of them is gonna keep me waiting for more than a month. I´ve watched Lady Gaga's new video, not bad, but I´m not really loving it yet, I´ve also watched Galliano's terrible incident, I have to say I can perfectly understand why he's been fired, this incident obviusly brings bad press to Dior, but on the other hand I think what he really needs is help, or at least someone to accompany him whenever he decides to get drunk and stop him from saying awful things like he did. Also, after a really long time, I´ve gone to the cinema. I watched Black Swan, and yes, it was a really good film, but I was actually expecting more. Maybe it´s the fact that everybody said it was such a wonderful film. And last but not least I decided to get my hair shorter again, so here's the result. What do you think?
