Más vale tarde que nunca, así que desde aquí os deseo FELIZ AÑO a todos. Y para empezar el año de manera distinta, el primer look del 2012 corre a cargo de mi hermana Alba. Por dos motivos: 1. Estoy dedicando mis vacaciones a vaguear como nunca, lo que implica pisar la calle lo menos posible; 2. Mi hermana pequeña tiene estilazo suficiente como para lucirlo por aquí, que además hay que empezar a pensar en futuras generaciones. 

Lo dicho, que espero que estéis pasando unas navidades geniales y que este año sea de lo mejorcito para todos.

Better late than never, so HAPPY NEW YEAR! To start this new year with something different, here's the first look of 2012 with my sister Alba. I've chosen to show you these pics for 2 reasons: 1. I've been spending my Christmas holidays doing basically nothing and that means leaving the house as less as possible; 2. My little sister has a great sense of style and it's time to start thinking in the next generations.

Anyway, hope you've had a great time during Christmas, and once again, I hope all your wishes come true this year.

He estado ausente toda la semana pero vuelvo al blog por navidad. Bueno, no sólo al blog, también a mi casa y a mi antiguo escenario para fotografiar mis looks. Las cosas como son, echaba de menos esa luz del atarcedecer para sacar fotos. Al caso, espero que estéis pasando unas navidades geniales. Las mías no están siendo nada del otro mundo, se nota que la navidad ya no es lo que era. Pero bueno, siempre hay que mirar el lado positivo de las cosas y lo bueno es que tengo por delante dos semanas de vacaciones. A ver si aprovecho para actualizar más y hacer algo especial porque esta semana mi blog cumplió dos añitos y esto hay que celebrarlo.

I've been  a little bit absent this week, but I'm back to the blog for Christmas. Not only to the blog but I've also returned home and that means taking outfit pics where I used to. I actually miss this light for taking pictures. Anyway, I hope you are having lots of fun this Christmas, I can't say the same thing for me, Christmas is not what it used to be, but at least I've got two weeks of holidays ahead. I hope I manage to get time to update the blog and do something special because my blog just  turned 2 this week and that's something to celebrate!

No es nada nuevo decir que adoro ir de compras, aunque sorprendentemente últimamente me esté consiguiendo mantener alejada de ellas, sin embargo reconozco que comprar regalos para los demás no me apasiona excesivamente. Pero claro, cuando llegan estas fechas no queda otra que apechugar e ir en busca del regalo perfecto. Y eso precisamente hice el sábado. Y tengo que decir que no se me dio nada mal la cosa. ¡Bien por mí!

It's nothing new to say I love shopping although lately I've managed to keep away from the shops, however I don't really enjoy buying presents for other people. Anyway, we all know that when Christamas time comes you can't avoid doing the typical Christmas shopping, and that's what I did last Saturday. And I have to say I didn't do bad at all. Good for me!

The best of Trendtation

Esta foto de felicidad en estado puro tiene un motivo. Y es que en Trendtation han elegido mi blog como uno de los 10 mejores de este año 2011. Siempre es un subidón recibir buenas palabras y ver que la gente aprecia y valora lo que haces, pero significa incluso más cuando estás en medio de una pequeña crisis bloguera como es mi caso. Este pequeño reconocimiento por parte de Trendtation me ha servido para darme un pequeño empujón y recuperar alguna desilusión perdida. Ahora me toca volver a estar al 100%  con mi querido blog. I haven't posted this picture for no reason. I'm very happy because the girls from Trendtation have selected my blog as one of the ten best blogs of the year. It's always a real honor when you see that people admire and apreciate what you do, and it feels even better when you are in the middle of a little blogging crisis like me. This little treat from Trendtation will definitely help me to continue improving the blog and doing new and intereseting things. Replica Open Day

Empiezo la semana con algunos pequeños detalles de lo que vi en el Open Day de Replica hace unas semanas. Siempre es un placer rodearse de marcas de prestigio en una genial localización como son las oficinas de Replica. Pudimos conocer la colección de baño y lenceria de Eres, ponernos al día con los productos de Germaine de Capuccini, pero lo que más captó mi atención fueron las firmas de calzado y accesorios. He aquí una pequeña demostración.

To start off  the week here are a few pics of some of the things I saw a couple of weeks ago at the Replica Open Day. It's always a pleasure to see quality designer brands especially if it involves enjoying an amazing location such as the Replica offices. We had the chance to see Eres lingerie and swimming collection, also Germaine de Capuccini and all their beauty products, but what caught most of my attention were the shoe and accesories brands. Here's a little demonstration.

Loca por tu ropa

El sábado pasado las chicas de Loca por tu Ropa tuvieron la genial idea de organizar una comida blogger y obviamente no rechacé la invitación. Siempre he sido muy partidaria de conocer en persona a la gente que hay detrás del blog. De hecho ya hay mucha gente a la que he podido conocer y algunos se han ido convirtiendo en amigos de verdad. Fue un placer ponerle cara a Sandra y María (de Loca por tu Ropa), Nuria y Miriam (de Dos en la Pasarela), Cristina, Julia y Erea (la única a la que ya conocía desde hace mucho tiempo). La comida fue genial, el sitio era chulísimo y aprovechamos para cotillear mucho y ponernos al día de nuestras vidas. Lo único malo es que dejé mi cámara abandonada en el bolso y no saqué ninguna foto. Muy mal por mi parte. Al menos las chicas de Loca por tu Ropa estuvieron en todo y aprovecharon para sacar fotos de todos nuestros looks. Así que aprovechando que ya han posteado el mío, les robo la foto y os muestro el look que elegí para la ocasión.

En definitiva, siempre es un placer ir conociendo a más y más bloggers, sobre todo cuando la quedada termina con la idea de repetir próximamente. A ver si para la siguiente saco fotos...

Last Saturday, the girls from Loca por tu Ropa decided to organize a bloggers lunch and I obviously accepted the invitation. I've always been a fan of meeting the people behind the blogs. In fact, I've had the pleasure to meet quite a few bloggers and some of them have actually become really good friends. It was great to finally meet Sandra and María (from Loca por tu Ropa), Nuria and Miriam (from Dos en la Pasarela), Cristina, Julia and Erea (who I've known for a very long time now). The restaurant was amazing, and we had the chance to gossip and to get to know each other a little better. The only problem is that I left my camera in my bag and I didn't take any pictures. Fortunately, the girls from Loca por tu Ropa took pictures of all of our outfits and now that they have posted mine I can show you what I wore that day. 

Once again, it was a pleasure to meet more fellow bloggers and we are already thinking about doing it again. Let's hope the next time we meet I remember to take some pics...
